The British Arachnological Society is delighted to be able to offer two bursaries, in memory of Rod Allison, of £250 (300 EUR) each, to aid members wishing to attend the 28th European Congress of Arachnology.
In order to help Council in their decision on the recipients, applicants should supply the following information:
Applicants who are not paid-up members of the British Arachnological Society should update their membership or join the society prior to submitting their application.
Successful applicants will be encouraged to submit a report of their experience of the Congress for publication in the Newsletter.
Applications should be submitted by email to the Secretary: [email protected] by May 9th at the latest. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within 3 weeks of the closing date.

- name, address, and contact email (or telephone);
- professional, amateur, retired, student, or other status;
- predicted costs to the applicant of attending the Congress, including a statement of the source of funding in addition to the bursary;
- a brief outline of the nature of their contribution to the Congress; e.g. abstract of poster or oral presentation, description of display to be set up, or meeting to be held.
